Local Clark Grove Girl is Honored as Role Model
(ABC 6 NEWS) — A Clark Grove girl is becoming a role model to other children with Down Syndrome.
A Texas magazine heard about 11-year-old Rebecca Schie’s community involvement and asked to interview her over the Internet.
Her parents describe her as a well-rounded girl who loves to be out in the community.
She is a greeter at her church, sings in the choir and loves to play kickball with her friends.
The magazine is called “A Distinctive Style” and Rebecca’s interview will be featured in the November issue.
