Mary Naylor and family live and work in the small town of White Salmon, Washington, in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. Naylor Art works to create bold and brightly colored hand-painted ceramic designs, that have become very popular and sought after in the art show, winery and gallery circuits.

Naylor Art makes all art pieces starting by preparing the clay from powder, using a slip cast technique to make the pots from original hand-thrown designs, sanding each piece, then spending hours painting each original design using many beautiful vibrant colors, before each pot is kiln fired twice. Naylor Art has won awards for Best of Clay at the Bayou City Art Fest in Houston, Tx, Best of Show at the Corvallis Festival in Corvallis, Oregon, Award Winner at the Downtown Boulder Art Fair in Boulder, Co. Juror’s Award for Functional Ceramics at Castle Rock Artfest,Castle Rock, Co. and Merit Award at the Smokey Hill River Festival in Salina, Ks.
